Every child has a dream of what he wants to be when he grows up. Unfortunately, not every child gets a fair chance at acquiring that dream.

The Children’s Shelter, along with people like you, gives children that chance. We also give them the things that every child deserves: to grow up in a loving environment, eat three meals a day, receive proper health care, wear clean clothes, get an education... and not be abused.

Since 1901, The Children’s Shelter has been giving children the chance to dream. With emergency shelter services, residential treatment, basic and therapeutic foster care, special needs adoption, teen parenting services, and abuse prevention programs, the shelter helps create brighter futures for children every day.
