Incorporated of San Antonio is an affiliate
of Girls Incorporated®, a non-profit organization
that inspires all girls to be Strong, Smart,
and BoldSM.
For
over 100 years, Girls Inc. has responded to
the changing needs of girls through research-based
curricula that empower every girl to be herself,
resist stereotypes, and achieve her dreams.

Inc. addresses societal problems, such as adolescent
pregnancy, substance abuse, gender stereotypes,
violence, and poverty, with informal education
programs that encourage girls to take risks
and master physical, intellectual and emotional
challenges.

Inc. programs in the San Antonio area through
outreach and center-based programs.

Inc. Identity Programs are age-appropriate,
engaging and educational. Girls Inc. programs
are developed for girls ages 6-18 years.

Girls Inc. Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy®
bolsters girls' communication and skills as
well as their motivation and resources for
being in charge of their sexual health and
avoiding teen pregnancy.

Inc. Project BOLD® strengthens girls'
abilities to lead safer lives by developing
strategies for self-defense, seeking out caring
adults to help with personal violence, and
advocating on violence issues.

Inc. Friendly PEERsuasion® builds
girls' skills for resisting pressure to use
harmful substances such as alcohol, tobacco,
household chemicals, and other drugs.

Inc. Operation SMART® builds girls'
skills and interest in science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics.

Inc. Economic Literacy® introduces
girls to basic economic and financial concepts,
including money management, investments, and
global economics.

to think critically about media messages and
fosters their awareness of the power of the
media and its effects on girls.

leadership skills and creates lasting social
change by partnering girls and women in community

and athletic skills, cooperative and competitive

an active lifestyle.
