Legacy Society
The Children's Shelter Legacy Society honors and recognizes the generosity and vision of who choose to leave a legacy gift to guarantee a brighter future of the children.
Those farsighted donors who through their compassion and hope provide a planned or deferred gift to The Children's Shelter Foundation qualify for membership in the Legacy Society. Enrollment is simply a matter of advising us of the creation of a legacy gift. These gifts take many forms and include:
- Bequests through wills or living trusts;
- Life insurance policies with The Children's Shelter Foundation as beneficiary or owner and beneficiary;
- Homes transferred to The Children's Shelter Foundation through life estate arrangements;
- Charitable trusts naming The Children's Shelter Foundation as a remainder beneficiary;
- Retirement accounts naming The Children's Shelter Foundation as a beneficiary;
- Legacy gifts will become a permanent part of The Children's Shelter Foundation endowment, ensuring that The
- Children's Shelter can continue to provide compassionate care for our wonderful children. Planned or legacy gifts may also be designated for a specific purpose.
There are many ways you can help ensure the future of our children through a legacy gift. For more information about giving through planned gifts, click here.
